Description
Procedure, prerequisites and required supporting documents for granting of the expenses for the transfer of a deceased (remains) refugee.
Conditions
The expenses are granted for the transfer of a deceased (remains) by rail or air for the refugees (Greeks) from the countries of Eastern Europe that had taken refuge to foreign countries, as a consequence of the Civil War that started.
Procedure
Citizens visit the Social Welfare Department of the respective Prefecture Local Government to apply for the granting of the expenses for the transfer of a deceased (remains) refugee, presenting the required documentation.
- The Competent Employee of Social Welfare Department of the respective Prefecture Local Government provides the citizen with an application to fill.
- The Citizen fills in the Application and hands it to the Competent Employee of Social Welfare Department of the respective Prefecture Local Government together with the required supporting documents.
- The Competent Employee of Social Welfare Department of the respective Prefecture Local Government checks the information given by the citizen in the application, as well as the adequacy of the supporting documents he has presented. If during the audit of the supporting documents it is found that something is missing or is incomplete, he notifies the citizen and completes the case.
- The Competent Employee of Social Welfare Department of the respective Prefecture Local Government issues a decision on the recognition of the right to be granted the expenses for the transfer of a deceased (remains) refugee.
- The Competent Employee of Social Welfare Department of the respective Prefecture Local Government approves the granting of the expenses for the transfer of a deceased (remains) refugee.
Citizens collect the amount provided for covering the expenses for the transfer of a deceased (remains) refugee.
