As certified user of the HERMES National Portal, you can electronically process a series of services and receive in your computer the documents you want (certificates, attestations and other documents). Those documents are digitally signed by, providing additional security to your electronic transactions with the Government.
The users wanting to utilize in their transactions with public services, entities, companies, etc, have the possibility to save them in special form electronic files (following the XML template) and afterwards present them along with the printed document to the interested entity.
The printed document validation control service allows the recipients of the electronic files to certify that the presented document has been produced by the HERMES National Portal and is valid, so as to become accepted.
