Γενικά Δικαιολογητικά

  • A copy of the company’s approved and published Articles of Association (General Partnership, Limited Partnership, Limited Liability Company (EPE), Public Limited Company (SA)) approved and authenticated by the competent authority or any other official document showing the composition of the company’s Board of Directors, as well as its administrators or representatives. (If the provider is a company)
  • A passport or ID card photocopy.
    If the provider is a company, the Identity Card should be submitted for each representative or employee of the company that will exercise its activity in the Greek territory.
  • A signed statement as per Law 1599/1986 (translated into Greek)
    A signed statement as per Law 1599/1986 (translated into Greek) affirming that the person concerned has never been convicted of or put on trial for any of the offences provided for in Article 2, par. 1 (β), (γ) and (δ) of the Joint Ministerial Decision 1016/6/291-ξγ’ dated 07.11.2011 (Official Gazette of the Hellenic Republic No. 2539). If the provider is a company, the document should be submitted for each representative or employee of the company that will exercise its activity in the Greek territory.
  • An attestation (translated and certified) from the competent authority of the Member State
    An attestation (translated and certified) from the competent authority of the Member State where the person concerned is established certifying that the person concerned is legally established in the Member State, that he/she legally exercises his/her professional activity, and that he/she is not forbidden to exercise such activity, even temporarily, for the period of time such attestation is granted. In the event that no license from the Member State is required for the exercise of such activity, the provider should submit documents proving his/her engagement in the activity he/she declares he/she intends to exercise. If the provider is a company, the Attestation should be submitted for each representative or employee of the company that will exercise its activity in the Greek territory.

    The declaration submitted must include the applicant’s personal and contact details, as well as information about the place, the time and the duration of the service provided in Greece. If the provider is a company, the Declaration should be submitted for each representative or employee of the company that will exercise its activity in the Greek territory.

Προϋποθέσεις

1. The providers should meet the following requirements:
a. They are at least 18 years of age.
b. They have not been convicted of or put on trial for draft evasion, desertion, insult against the political system, treason against the country, insult against the authority of the State, offences against the free exercise of civil rights, offences against sexual freedom, commercial sexual exploitation, criminal organization offences, counterfeiting, forgery of money, falsification, violation of phone calls and oral conversations privacy, theft, robbery, misappropriation, extortion, fraud, embezzlement, active and passive corruption, misappropriation of public funds, as well as violations of the legislation on animal theft, drugs, illegal trade, weapons and explosive materials, preventing and combating money laundering, terrorism financing, irrespective of whether such conviction has been included or not in the criminal record of the person concerned.  
c. They have never been deprived of their civil rights, even if the time set for their deprivation has expired.
d. They have not been placed under judicial guardianship.

2. If the provider is a company, the aforementioned requirements should be fulfilled by the employee of the company that will exercise its activity in the Greek territory. In the case of Public Limited Companies (SA), each member of the Board of Directors and each company representative should fulfill such requirements.
In the case of General Partnerships, Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies (EPE), each partner and administrator, as well as each member of the Board of Directors should fulfill such requirements. For any change in the legal form of the company, a relevant statement should be submitted to the competent authority.

Διαδικασία

Submission of a declaration written in the Greek language to the Detective Station or the Police Station with security duties in the area where the person concerned exercises his/her activity, which is designated as competent authority, or to the Citizen Service Centres (KEP) operating as Single Service Centres (EKE). If the provider is to exercise his/her activity in more than one area over the same period of time, the competent authority is the Detective Station or the Police Station with security duties of the first area where the person concerned exercises his/her activity.

The competent authority grants to the provider an attestation valid for five (5) years within three (3) months from the submission of all supporting documents.

A provider who intends to provide services informs the competent authority by submitting the declaration provided for in Article 5, par. 1 of the Joint Ministerial Decision 1016/6/291-ξγ’ dated 07.11.2011 (Official Gazette of the Hellenic Republic No. 2539). The supporting documents accompanying the declaration are submitted once, that is the first time the declaration for the provision of services is submitted. Unless there is a change in the provider’s status, no further supporting documents are submitted over the aforementioned five-year period.

In order to continue the provision of services beyond the aforementioned five-year period, the provider should submit a new declaration the competent authority, along with the necessary supporting documents, three (3) months before the expiry of the five-year period.

The provider may commence the provision of services within three (3) months from the submission of the relevant declaration and supporting documents to the competent authority, subject to the provisions of Article 4, paragraphs 2 to 7, of the Joint Ministerial Decision 1016/6/291-ξγ’ dated 07.11.2011 (Official Gazette of the Hellenic Republic No. 2539), and may exercise his/her activity in the area of competence of the Hellenic Police
